Got my new shoes muddy on ctrl 8 :( but they got cleaned off going to the island control #10 (mostly). After running the sprint, I questioned my choice of course selection heading to Red control #1 (a long uphill leg). There were times in this course that I just didnt have the leg strength to jog but, as with the sprint, I didnt make any major mistakes. Overall, I'm fairly happy with the day. I did a reasonable job of keeping map contact and knowing where I wanted to go next without needing to stop.
oh, NOTE: My arms felt whipped after this. It felt like I just finished digging from yesterday. I guess that is what happens with a full body exertion.
