Note

Called Dr yesterday about possible bite (which today i s starting to show a specific location slightly white/yellow as opposed to red) and they prescribed an antibiotic. The area looks blistered now and I will probably loose that layer of skin.
7 AM

Swimming 40:00 [3] 1.0 mi (40:01 / mi)
shoes: Purple 34

A bit of a challenge with the tip of my index finger swollen. It felt like the skin was flapping as I moved through the stroke, I ended up positioning it against and slightly behind the middle finger... which is less efficient and tired my hand muscles out.

Note

May have been stung by insect while putting on work gloves - felt sharp poke that made me take hand out of glove but didn't think more of it. after working for an hour or so I could feel a sore spot on tip of index finger. It hurt and was a little swollen the night and I tried soaking with salt water. Tuesday was difficult and painful to the touch.
The dots did not connect until Thursday AM as the finger is still red, swollen, warm and painful. (but less swollen and painful that previous)

Orienteering 45:45 [3] 5.11 km (8:57 / km)
ahr:157 max:179 shoes: inov8 Bare-Grip 200

Awesome run on green... except for punching the wrong first control :(
I blame this on karma for sneaking up on Sandy as we approached the #1 control and making her fall.
I wanted to make sure she was ok and then never checked the control number.
Really nice course that was surprisingly open woods for most of it. Great planning.
Very happy with the 10 min / km pace even though it was a mispunch run.
