Hickory Run - Long Green.
I originally thought green was shorter and didn't realize the length until going to the first control.
Missed #1 and had to circle back. There seemed to be several clearings in the area. Messed up #5 but Dianne helped out. I returned the favor on #11 after I looped around that area and she caught back up to me.
Missed #8 but did find a swamp with a DVOA streamer labeled #44. reoriented off the road - 5 steps into the woods I caught a twig in the eye. A burning and watering that would not go away. Ended up going to urgent cars to find I have a good sized scratch on my cornea. It felt normal with the numbing drops but they wore off quickly. A very uncomfortable 12 hours. As of Tuesday I can actually read words with that eye. Still a bit blurry. Ironically, I have a eye dr, appointment tomorrow.
