Snowboarding 5:00:00 [3]
Boarded the new terrain at Arapahoe Basin.

Montezuma Bowl!!!!

Talk about an amazing addition to an already perfect ski area! Wicked steep chutes with cliffs and rocks and some trees. Lots of gladed trees that force you to be 100% alert. Moguls the size of VW Bugs! And all of this covered in beautiful Colorado snow.

This was an amazing day! I'm tired now...

Saturday Jan 26

Event: RMOC Frisco Ski-O & Snowshoe-O

Orienteering race (Ski O (Classic)) 1:36:38 [5] *** 10.7 km (9:02 / km)
ahr:169 max:183 spiked:15/16c
Ski O at Frisco.

I wisely chose to ski on Classic skis for this as I knew I wouldn't have the energy for skating the whole time. I did well, got second in my category, and made only one mistake, near the end. I was tired and started the wrong way up the loop that the control was on, so I just finished the loop, but it added extra time/distance etc.

The distance is an educated guess. The straight line measurement for my course is 7 km, but with ski O, I decided to add a bit. I'll measure it a bit more accurately when I enter in my race report here on Attackpoint.

Ran a pyramid 2, 4, 6, 4, 2 with 2 minutes rest between each. The last two minutes finished on the 15m hill so I guess I timed that well...

Jack Quinn's group run. Getting closer to that shirt. Also, this run didn't feel nearly as hard as my HR suggests.

Monday Jan 21

Note
(sick)
Still feeling it a bit so not going to do anything to risk a relapse. Starting tomorrow with an easy run and hopefully will stay healthy...
Cycling Rollers 44:02 [1]
ahr:132 max:139
Bored out of my skull and itching to do something I decided to try a bit of indoor exercise on this cold day, hopefully running tomorrow won't be as much of a shock.
