Orienteering race 1:15:48 [4] ** 9.3 km (8:09 / km)
spiked:14/16c shoes: IceBug Neon Green
The Blue course at Peaceful Valley. A good course for this area, but I felt like I had no lungs with which to push up the hills or fast across the flats.

Here's the course, I'll upload my route soon...

Monday May 26

Orienteering race (Long) 2:17:26 [5] **** 11.9 km (11:33 / km) +525m 9:28 / km
spiked:19/23c (injured) shoes: IceBug Neon Green
The Long. My lack of training due to injury definitely showed in the last third of this race. That and the rock field they sent us through.

I made a mistake on #1 which shook me a little for 2, by some miracle I found it and then everything was going well. A few more hiccups until 12 where I didn't follow my bearing. Lots of rock and then another fatuige induced, not following my bearing at the second-to-last control put JJ and me tied, to the second, at the last control. I outsprinted him in the finish chute by a few seconds!

My injury definitely slowed me down today but only by making my right leg stiff and not very usefull. Very little to no pain after and now.

Here's my map:
