Little trot. Legs a bit sore today, knee quite stiff too. The stop/start button of my Garmin still seems to be stuck in, so looking to buy the new FR235 - anyone got one and would recommend? The optical HR thing looks good (if it works).

really good fun, not run this hard for so long in aaages. Had a good duel with Fanni the whole way round, only managed to eek ahead once in the middle of the course and then just about mustered enough of a sprint at the end.

5 x 1km. Parts of the pitches were frozen so this helped mitigate the muddyness a bit. Feeling really tired mentally and thought of bailing it after 2 reps but soldiered on.

Plod part way up Ben Ledi in the snow. Slushy at ground level, but snow really deep as I ascended. Once I'd overtaken the two other couples out on the hill, I was making the tracks which was both awesome and tiring.

Didn't harbour any ambitions to get to the top given the W forecast. Snow was just too deep to run through out of the woods and as soon as I got in the biting W wind on the ridge, stumbling about in the mid shin/knee deep snow was enough and turned back.

Love scotland when it's snowy!
