Nice plod over to Monsal from drop off at Curbar to watch the hill climb. Took Dexter dog for company who behaved relatively well.

findign the clmbs a struggle and pretty toasty in my short sleeved thermal, but thoroughly enjoyable. just nice to be out there doing running for the sheer fun of it for a change rather than chasing a munro or flags. Knee very good surprisingly.

parkrun. really enjoyable. knee much better than feared. started sensibly like last week (why does everyone always nail it off from the start line?!?) and just passed the last remaining cani-cross runner about 50m from the line after a really hard chase towards the end.

fri evening nip out.

knee was really bad both thurs and Fri - just sore to walk round on so pleased to get out and get round this without too much trouble but was taking it very slow. I think the higher desk at work hasn't helped as much as I'd hoped - may have to think about getting a new seat. anyhow back to training log not knee log....

loved the run, found myself singing to myself at times in the woods, just think this london move is turning out well so far, actually got time in the evenings and weekends to do stuff.

usual effort on the walking treadmill. still lots of sweating but I'm slowly finding where the air ducts are for optimal cool down afterwards.

knee tendon has been pretty crap the last few days and have had to arnicare it to ease it off. the gym seemed to do it some good though.
