wakey wakey. quite exciting setting off in the dark and -1. hands freezing (despite gloves) from carrying stakes that had been left in the car overnight.

probably managed about 4.5 - 5 hours sleep but seemed to stay awake fine during the day

Hanging 46 controls. a lot more fun than it sounds. Really enjoyed wandering around for the first three hours... then started to be up against it as I was slowing down and still had start taping to do.

... taping the route to start/finish. took Dexter, but to be honest Border Collies aren't that good at helping tape routes. especially when I tried to tape up to loose stick
