Creag Meagaidh with Joe and Sarah.

Pretty tough pace on this one for me with my tired legs. Joe quite fit on the flats. Smashing experience plodding around the clag on our own. No one else up there which was surprising and didn't get zapped by lightening which is always a bonus.

watched died quite early on...

S6D D3 Dundurn

Days like this make you love orienteering. Lovely course and just flowed through the terrain nicely ticking things off. Still plodding my usual unfit pace but felt like I was doing the orienteering bit fast if that makes any sense.

Body wise I continue to be surprised, no real flaring up of achilles (arguably feels better than when I walk to work) but knee a bit sore. hardly putting much impact through it though.

Was out near 2pm so lots of tracks quickening it up (but also not too many people to give everything away).

Looking forward to the rest day tomorrow and not getting up at 6am.

Got about 7,000 scottish six day maps in my house atm. let's hope it doesn't burn down or I sleep through my alarm.....

S6D2 - Edinchip

Enjoyed again, new area, a bit too much running in the opening to suit me where I was a bit scrappy. Nice little semi-open area and woods down the bottom. Hopefully FVO get this area so we can have a night race on it!

Not getting too tired generally from the 6am alarm calls but definitely accumulating a bit of fatigue slowly from the running.
