Thought it would be rude not to tie some orienteering off the A9 with a cheeky trip to make sure the house hasn't frozen up North (it hasn't). Forgot this was the really rough area Day 6 of Tay 2009. Not got any more runnmable nor have I got any quicker! Nonetheless an awesome run out, nice course with some longer legs.
Was trying to take it easy as achilles was a bit sore yesterday post O. No such complaints today but a lot of walking.
Great views from the top with some remnants of snow and frozen patches, still wind and sun shining, what a day to be alive!
Results wise, sadly I had a brain fail planning ahead through 5-6-7 and navigated 6-7 once I'd done 5 and so missed 6. Swiss JWOC runner about 6 mins ahead (well and got all the controls too).
