After doing probably too much on the foot through the week and with soreness Thurs gave it a few days off and tested again. Seemed OK going round, see afterwards... nice and sploshy underfoot. felt like harder work than I'd have liked!

What better way to rehydrate after last night than go and drink some chlorinated water. Didn't drink that much so wasn't trying that hard. Bored after about 4 minutes, but a nice distraction from slowly trying to get my head back into employed work mode. Pool pretty dead. Enjoyed

Nice and tricky course by Lewis. Was a bit scrappy to start off with then once alone orienteering a lot better. Great fun! R foot coped ok (can feel post event but not painful like yesterday), r knee usual soreness post.

Stob Coire a'Chearcaill

Just walking. Was going to have a rest day given time on feet last few days ("running" and DIY) but the sun shone briefly at home so rude not to. Unfortunately foot flared up about 6km in before settling (top R foot plus achilles). i was already 650m high so decided I might as well bag it. Foot seems ok in evening but must not get carried away tomorrow at night o.

Tour de precipitation. Light rain at the house but after a 5 min drive down was hailing. Ended up running an ecclectic mix of hail, heavy snow and light snow, with a side dish of a roaring westerly wind. Type 2 stuff but wanted to get a tester in before Weds. Foot ok, but was more focused on de frosting hands and feet going round.
