SOL darnaway. thoroughly enjoying this but could feel my R foot in the warm up. once we got to the rough stuff around 10/11 could feel it a bit more and turned painful. once I'd stopped to walk it was painful.

so shuffle home. seems to have settled down post so think it is a temporary thing. Pain is in mid of foot on top, a bit higher than the worst bit before but defo smae thing. Not completley unexpected as I've not tried two back to back runs before.

drats. after a few hours what I think is the tendon feels like it's inflamed and grinding over the top of the foot. icing and see how it goes.

Scottish Night Champs, 3rd

After seeing the entry list I binned any aspirations for a podium and just focused on enjoying. Also had lots of faff on the day with elecric cars, dogs etc reinforcing aim of enjoyment.

Really enjoyed the area and course. Mix of urban, dunes and forest. Nixon caught me out of 4 then with him (not following, but sing) till about 11 where I decided he was going wrong (he wasn't dog).

Then just brought it home relatively steady. Didnt make too many mistakes but a few wobbles. 3rd M21 thanks to the kind way in which they worked it out (one M35 and one M20 above). happy days.

very sore generally in evening, not fit enough. this is a "long run" for me atm.

Fvo stretching and circuits. Good fun, even if I did turn up a but early and enter he main church. Quite sore overnight and into tues. My R patella tendon was quite painful on single r leg squats ... prob need to try sorting that one out
