Glen Roy explore.

Just chilling. Was trying to find a bridge over the river, but the steep track down just led to the remains of one. Given it was about 5 degrees and snow coming out skybatvthat point bailed for pushing my bike back up then a nice explore of valley. Stonking northerly wind made progress up the valley hard, but a speedy whizz back down

Knee seemed OKish, if a bit sore when finishing. Top of my R foot still seems to be a bit sore, getting no better or worse. A bit like Covid in Scotland.

Loch Lochy Circumnavigation

Lovely. A bit wet though and everything soaked through and very gritty by end. Picked up a lovely cross tail as expected on way up but sheltered on the way back by trees :-). Nice and quiet on the A82, cant imagine it would be anywhere this quiet again!

Body wise, my knee wasn't fantastic, reckon I'm not angling my heel in enough on the R side, once I did that was a bit better but my R side definitely a bit stuffed.

Feeling a bit tired and stressed, but nothing a nice bit of sunshine, mountains and eating some flies can't solve. R achilles pulling a bit. Damn.

Given stresses and faff of recent days went a bit harder and felt ok. Looking fwd to not cycling up here on a 16kg bike soon.

ended up racing some semi-fit young people on road bikes (not that they really engaged), but what self respecting roadie let's someone on a 16kg decathlon mountain bike in trainers overtake you on the flat?
