Leanachan Figure of 8 loop.

Took me a long time to motivate myself out the door for this given constant rain and heavy winds for the past 24 hours. Belting SW wind so W bits were a bit of a drag. Didn't feel great, but not really much difference pace wise to a few weeks ago. Feeling much better after mentally though.

No major complaints from R knee but I do have this slight bump on the front of the bone which I'm trying to minor whether it was there before.... no material complaints from top of R foot too.

Bohenie climb

Not did this side of the valley for a while so rude not to given the weather so warm and forecast to be rubbish for weekend.

Got a KOM on the climb (tailwind assisted, but most NE segments end up so), so looking fwd to getting a lighter bike at some point and improving on that.

Stopped off en route to town have a nosey around an area that was discounted for S6D 2021 and also looked nice for a run round the river. As expected forest too plantation-ey and tough, but a nice run by the river nonetheless.

Felt pretty bad on the run, maybe I'm just trying too hard to run at a pace I remember from years ago. But it was proper toasty. thought about doing more, but body and mind happy enough with this. first blood donation to the midges!
