Knoydart - meall Bhuidde and Luinne Bheinn

Not too much sleep but macaroni cheese at 7am perked me up . Had a vague ambition to do more before I get to knoydart but I hadn't measured the route doh. Another good day of weather, nice cloud cover. Ambling along to protect various foot issues and initial conclusion is I have retained all my toenails! Was actually quite enjoyable going so slow. Lots more hills to come back for.

Was really looking forward to a nice hearty pub lunch but the pub was a bit too fancy / fishy for me, so I made do with some IRN BRU and some crisps whilst waiting for the boat.

Nip over for a first trip to Knoydart. Lovely evening. Stunning scenery and not a soul in sight once out Inverie. Ground very dry but found a spot with some water. Views over to the Cuillin were cracking. Metatarsal R foot issues since Mon so just ambling slowly.

Camp at 600m, only a few midges.

Gairich (1M)

Thought I had to go out and do something fun given the forecast even though feet a bit sore from Sat excursion plus life admin building up... but so glad I did! Scorching out there but thankfully headed out early to avoid the peak UV. Did quite a bit of shuffling so see how the knee goes. So dry and quick underfoot, but still enough sponge.
Perfect!
