Riding with Rachel, David, Jess and Mhari on trails which were much steeper and twisterer than anything I had previously been on. Definitely showed that I had not been biking in almost a year, but the others were kind enough to wait for me. And no major falls or broken bones!

Running a course from Sunday with Rachel and David. Shoes were not ideal - rubber dobs in dead-fall. Took a couple tumbles before deciding to slow down a bit. A couple questionable route choices, and one trouble spot in the control circle: the cliffs were a bit further apart than mapped, and I turned the wrong way coming over the hill. Really fun to get out in the forest again though!

Running with David on a new set of trails north of Kelowna. Felt really tired - been sitting on a tour bus for the last couple days - and my calves were not happy with climbing, but it was a lovely view and lovely weather, and great to get out!
