7 min error cost me a surprisingly good possible finish - kept up with a lot of the pack on my splits.

Definitely on the right track.

I read the map well. I also had a leg where my brain turned off - running without a real plan? Right after making a parallel error...and right after another section of short legs. That makes 3 days in a row (working backwards) - looks like I need to think about how to make this transition work out better.

Hmmm.

Just not fast enough to keep up - Cristina just about killed me on the run in! Good stuff. More good quality running should pay off well for me.

Ah, so good to be done with TEEs. On my own until CLDT for the most part - what a beautiful thing. Getting some closure at the end of the year probably contributed to a very solid night's sleep...been up every morning early for awhile now just because of grading and other stuff going on. And feeling vindicated on a number of fronts probably doesn't hurt, either.

Lovely run - didn't try to push at all, felt fast and strong, and had to consciously rein myself in from extending out and around the back of the Ski Slope. There will be plenty of running this weekend - no need to push it just yet.

Averaged 7:35/km. No idea how that relates to my ideal pace - probably a good deal slower - but not sure that I care. After the rogaine, maybe. It's about mileage more than anything else right now.

Felt tight around the back psoas connection - I'll have her work on that tomorrow at my massage. Saving ab work for tomorrow morning.

I love summer.
