Baldface Circle Trail with Addie and Glenn in pretty good time. Took the left fork going up over the ledges, around the rim of the cirque, back down the Bicknell Ridge trail, which is a lot nicer than the circle trail down in the valley. There were blueberries in fantastic profusion. Could probably have skipped lunch and just eaten blueberries. As it was we brought down a sandwich container full of berries. The day was clear and warm, with great views.

At the end of the trail Addie and Glenn jumped into the Emerald Pool. It's too cold for me.

Hiking in the Presidentials with Glenn. Parked at the trailhead on Pinkham B road in Randolph. Up Howker Ridge trail to Mt. Madison, and down to Madison Springs hut for lunch. Then a loop to Mt. Adams via Star Lake trail and down the Airline back to the hut. Finally, Pine Link to Watkins Path to Brookside Trail to Kelton Trail and back to trailhead.

Fairly strenuous hike, nice day (t-shirt and shorts the whole time; 60 degrees and light wind up high) with low clouds in the morning, dissipating by mid-afternoon. Great set of trails and fine views off both summits.
