Road running 47:26 intensity: (9 @0) + (11 @1) + (23 @2) + (46:43 @3) 5.31 mi (8:56 / mi) +73m 8:34 / mi

Below freezing all day today, but at least it's not precipitating (much). All the routes I take have at least a small section off-road, and today those places were treacherous -- covered with a thin layer of smooth ice, sometimes nearly invisible. When I walked the dog, I got an early warning because he was a few steps ahead of me and he'd lose traction first. When running, I was on my own.

I might have taken a rest day today, but we're expecting a 3-day weather event starting tonight.

Yesterday to the Rock Creek path, today to the Sligo Creek path, for about a mile. OK, today my legs are tired.

Road running 52:10 intensity: (17 @0) + (8 @1) + (8 @2) + (51:37 @3) 5.87 mi (8:53 / mi) +103m 8:26 / mi

28 deg.F, full sun, no wind, and a great day to be out on a run. I got onto the Rock Creek trail, but only for a half-mile or so. Didn't see many people, but I've been running with a buff that I pull up when needed. And again, the HR monitor seems to have been telling the truth the whole way through.
