Suds & Soles 5k. Time was 22:56, first out of 11 in M70+. I expected better, but these big races (this one >1000) are hard to pace. First mile was at 7:00, with some downhill. Seems right. Second mile 7:25, with even more downhill. Can't really explain it. Maybe I went out too fast in the first mile, or too conservative in the second. Third mile was 7:38, but clawing back all the uphill so I don't feel too bad about that.

Hey, a long run! Consistent pace, HR in range, and a fine day. One nice thing about this route is how much of it is on trails, some paved, some not. Tomorrow something easier and Friday off. I signed up for a 5k this Saturday.

Rest day yesterday, P.T. strength training this morning, felt strong and fast in the run at noon. Forgot to wear the HRM, but the HR from the watch looks pretty good. I ran hard on the Strava segment (Leslie to Park).
