Second lot of X-rays (10 days on from the fall) revealed possible fracture to scaphoid bone near the base of my right thumb. I have been referred to the fracture clinic in Lancaster tomorrow for further advice. The doctor explained that they take scaphoid fracture seriously because it can interfere with blood supply to rest of bone and cause severe arthritis later on. It is still sore and I'd say functionality is around 50%. Had to make the tough decision that I cannot safely guide the TMB next week.

Same again. Hip adductors tight after yesterday. Oh dear, I've had enough of today.

After a party in Eskdale it seemed like a good day to tick two obscure Wainrights over near Ennerdale Bridge. Sunnier than expected but there were lots of big biting flies around.
