Stunning morning. Despite cold wet boots we convinced ourselves to ascend Sgurr na Feartaig (805m) and were rewarded with good snow higher up and amazing views. The route out to Strathcarran was even slower and slushier than yesterday but very beautiful. Saw nobody for two days.
Winter bothy adventure with Cat. Strathcarran to Bendronaig bothy took longer than expected through soft snow. Nice pit stop and lots of deer but we decided to continue to Bernais bothy for extra remoteness. Unfortunately this involved crossing mega slush bog (and then a river) and we both arrived soaked.

Scout/Cunswick Scar loop nice and steady. Sunny apart from 5 minute hail storm. Legs somewhat better but I am ready for a massage.

Note
Coffee with Neil to discuss my training. He said for trad goals I should focus on strength and endurance and not worry about power endurance. He also recommended doing more antagonistic training such as press-ups, rings and power fingers!
