Good sleep, okay warm ups and downs.

Orienteering race (Horwich Sprint Races) 18:05 [5] ** 3.5 km (5:10 / km) +10m 5:06 / km

First Race.

Not great but okay. Thighs are very sore after Yesterdays fell race bt manned up and raced.

Control flow was really good and was running great just made a few silly mistakes, were i was vering off a lot, due to not reading the map enough.

I lost around 1 min in little errors and could of gone faster if not in pain from yesterday.

Dave Schorah did it in 15:50.

Race 2.

This went a lot better which i was very suprised of, because it was a mass start (which i hate), and was in an urban area which was much harder than the mornings park area.

However, i got everything spot on and got a time off 11:48 was well chuffed.

Felt even better when i heard Dave Schorah had done it in 11:09. Not a lot in it when i know if i was fresher i would have gone faster!

Second overall behind Dave. Got a little glass trophy to keep haha

Warmed up for a good 20 mins and warmed down for about ten.

Ermmm what to say really. I set off and got stuck behind way to many people had to try make up as much as possible straight away on the first climb with Mike and by the time i got to the top i was dead.

Then just tried to damage control as much as possible to the peak trying not to let Mike get to far away ahead.

When i got to the top mike was around 200m ahead but i knew he would just get further and further away on the descent as i am too much of a pussy to go balls out, managed to gain a lot of places however on the more gentle descent but lost them all about on the steeper descent.

Over all was okay but feel i still have a lot more to give.

Legs still not perfect so i decided not to go to striders, so cycled on the bike on the flywheel on highest difficulty so was really though as i don't normally do this session. Was good but tough.

Stretched out afterwards as my legs were dead and so was my buttocks haha

Set off very fast and furious to begin with at it was only really orange started, just gates to slow you down, so i nailed through the first ten or so, then there were only really two more difficult one on part A of the map which were very rough under foot to them.

Second have was more difficult and meant for stuff underfoot that was very difficult, made a 2 mistakes on the first three and lost around 1 min and then i twisted my ankle and had to ease to ankle back in because of the terrain, so probably lost another minute.

Most of the aches and pains have gone from the football, am like saw this morning after this run but nothing major. Am just constantly tired lately and wanting to sleep everywhere even at work!

High Resistace and high speed.

Did this instead of striders because i am still slightly injuried/stiff.

Tried to do as much to stretch out and get rid of aches and pains.
