Out of the Witels, up happy hill and to Pels hut for an early lunch and then down to the cars with a much needed swim at base hut. Great weekend!!!

Down from the car park to a few hundred meters past the sign in board. Good heat training- about 33 degrees or so.

Bit of a run up to waaihoek peak and then back down to the hut to pick up my backpack and then carrying on past pels hut and then to the top of happy hill. Tough work with 20/25kgs on the back!

Down to the Witels, then along along to Groenwater falls with the packs on, then dropped the packs and did the kloofing section and carried on to Camp Sandy and then headed back up the river, picked up the bags and went to Disa camp where we stayed the night.

Argus training ride with Weiss. Bike path, Rhodes drive, Constantia nek, down into hout bay, up Chapman's peak, back down, over suikerbossie and along to Camps bay, then up to kloof nek, up to the cable station (horrible climb...) and along tafelberg road and then the jeep track towards the blockhouse, then down the singletrack by plumpudding ridge and to campus.

Good morning out, pretty much no traffic until we were going out of hout bay, so that was quite nice.

Definitely felt like I haven't ridden for a while.. just hoping I can organise a racing bike for Argus, this mtb on the road thing isn't the greatest.

With Jarryd and Mike Ross Jr. 3 hills on hill repeat road (well actually a sandy+rocky jeep track). Each rep about 950m and close to 150m climb.

Then back down to the R.men tar road and joined the others for their last 2 30sec hill reps.

Monday Feb 22, 2016 #

Note

Went to the beach this afternoon and missed the bus I wanted to take,so didn't make it to training.. Probably just going to go for a short jog around the fields.
