Super cool paddle around Simonstown with Bibs!

Started from Seaforth beach and hugged the coastline past boulders (so many penguiinnsss!!! :D) carried on through to the last rocks near murdoch valley (and climbed up the one with a rope on) then came back until boulders, headed out to the big rock to check out the seals and cormorants and then headed out to the lighthouse (crosswinds, so a bit bumpy), around the lighthouse and then straight into the wind towards the harbour (rain hit us as we turned as well which was epic!! :D (felt very hardcore with very low vis, rain+a bit of wave action). Did a quick tour of the navy boats ad then headed back to seaforth along the wall.
Really beautiful paddle, especially winding through all the bouders (crystal clear turqoise water+penguins), and then the rain and light+seals made the rest it prtty epic!

Note

Foots been a bit sore since last week Wed (but assuming it was caused by the long run mostly). Think it's a bit of peroneal tendonitis, so just keeping of it as much as possible for a bit. Is gradually improving.

Probably not the smartest to have done 150ish km of pretty rough mountains in very lightweight slabs the last couple weeks..

Taking the kayak for it's first Cape Town outing :D

With Roarkis. Cally and Bibs in the other boat.
From granger bay down prom direction and back. Had a little vom session just after we turned (body didn't enjoy having my back to the swell and Sun in my eyes..) and managed to capsize us in the process, felt much better after the cold swim :p

Caught up with some dolphins as we were about to head back in, so paddled around with them for a bit.
