At little hunters rest (namib rand reserve) in the tirasberg. With Misha. Up the canyon, then up into the rocks towards a peak. Through a bit of a valley and then down another kloof out towards the reception and back on the jeep to the campsite.

Had some hectic wind and rain for the first 30min or so (first rain since Jan here, we're obviously good luck), then ran out of light bear the top(and we stupidly didn't take a light or phone), so had a very slow last part trying to pick our way across boulders with the starlight and being a bit worried that we were a valley too far back and would be rather stuck until the moon came out. Solid 4 hours or so in the end :p

At the nwr campsite in the Naukluft. Did the waterkloof trail with the group. Rather hot out there and one of the older guys was struggling a bit, so took quite a while! Stuck at the back with Misha and Radek before running the last couple km back to the camp to open the car for the others.

Pretty similar sort of terrain to the magaliesberg. Bit boring to hike, but would've been cool to run I reckon.

Cool sighting of a black spitting cobra swimming in the one stream!!

In Sossusvlei :D

Our quantum wasn't going to survive the last section of road to the dunes, so the others got a shuttle and I took a super cool run straight across the dunes towards big daddy with a leaker muddy swim in the pan just before. So epic swimming in the middle of the desert!!

Climb up to big daddy was pretty brutal, especially with the sand being rather warm and burning the toes a bit :p

Then a really fun run down, another swim in the pan and back to the car via a slightly easier route (more pan, less dune).

Then a bit of a run up and down dune 45 for sunset. Such mad light, with a thunderstorm over sestriem, red dunes and the barren black valley!!

Had to do some more running here! Out along the river bed, then into the plains, up a small koppie for sunrise and then back on the jeep to camp.

Sputzzkopppee :D

This place is maddd. Soo so cool! Couple km along the flats, then working my way up, getting cliffed out a few times and having to drop down/traverse. Ran out of time about 2/3 up and went around to watch the sunset and then cruised down with some epic parkour on all the boulders! So nice and grippy :D definitely need to come back and get to the top

Super cool run in twyfelfontein with Misha. Across the plains with some crazy cool light, and then up the biggest koppie around (put in a solid effort to half way up). Chilled on top for a bit watching sunset and then some boulder parkour down and back across the plains by starlight, with a puddle swim in the riverbed :D
