So why start running again...
Well, last time there was the grand aim of a mountain marathon. I managed half of that (although I didnt really do any training in the 6 months between aiming for it and doing it). Managed is also an exaggeration given the pain I was in most of the way round one day. But, it was great fun.
(I’ve just realised i’ve completely ignored the ‘getting fit’ for the Aranda sprint race as a more recent example. Anyone who saw me after the first 12 mins will realise how well that went!)
This time I'm removing the 'mountain' part of the aim. And, yes, that means I'm going to try and run a marathon. Stockholm. June 2018. A long time away. Plenty of time to ... get injured, get lazy, get busy ... or even get fit.
