Decided to stick to the plan of going out today. Calf felt a bit better, and given the plan was long, flat and slow, thought i’d try. Very snowy which added to the fun, but happy with how it went. Calf got a bit tired towards the end, but no major twinges.

First potential setback. Right calf seemed to go pop early on the run, and seems sore / weak post run. Was a fairly gentle effort even when i did it and run was even slwer after.

Running 40:20 [3] 8.5 km (4:45 / km)

Harborough run. Pre dinner this time rather than 10pm. Legs a bit achey, but probably better than expected. Pushed bits to the top end of 3. Still super busy at work, and with little one having a virus will have to keep an eye on general health.
Good that 40mins no longer feels like a long run.
