Dunnerdale - 9th.

So legs stayed flat for the race. Race went out at a sedate pace which was nice but then hit the climb and my legs had nothing. Leaders ran off and Vic came storming through along the top. From then on it was battle royale with Millar. Hit the top of Great Stickle together but I had nothing. Legs so flat. Absolute beaut of a day on my favourite route so enjoyed the views if not the racing. Time not too bad considering but 3 mins down on last year tells you all you need to know.

Recovery spin - legs decidedly flat. Unsure if it's due to last night or because it's the morning. Seem to always feel flat in the morning on the bike.

AAC - 5 x 5" (1) 3 x 1" (1).

Aiming for around 5k pace so about 3:20s - 3:25s. Joe tore off on the first couple but the short rest soon caught up with him and he eased back to run with me and Ben. Felt pretty good throughout just tapping out a rhythm with Ben. Me and him seem well matched on the flat so should be a good winter training partner. Especially when Joe buggers off reindeer chasing.

Climbing with the gals. Did a fair bit in the downstairs room as it was packed upstairs. Actually really fun in there.

Threshold up Lingmoor. Feeling good all the way. Not pushing too hard and just ignored the watch. Strava says I got my fastest time on the steep climb (11:50) so must've been going alright. Did 10 x 10s power hills at the top.

The Langdales were looking extra nice.

On my own for a quick session. Going well and got a few new yellows. Finished with trying to get all the reds with no rest but only got half way again. Good burn out to finish though.
