2 PM

Running 1:23:10 [3] 13.0 km (6:24 / km) +670m 5:05 / km

Post house viewing up above Staveley. Started in the snow and finished in sunshine. Calf had eased a bit and I was actually moving well up Brunt but still going to be a little cautious.

Running 1:04:10 [2] 8.87 km (7:14 / km) +200m 6:30 / km

L calf flairing up as it often does post-disc slip. Think it stemmed from the parkrun last weekend as haven't been the same since. Not going to push it and will try and fix the problem rather than getting in the normal downward cycle. Easy week next week anyway so just going to bring it forward a weekend. Will book in a massage with Dave as stretching and rolling doesn't seem to be helping. Very glad not to be racing Carnethy now - thank you Will Rigg, your flakeyness was a blessing in disguise...

Went for a trot round Simpson Ground w/ Alice. Really enjoyable despite the rain and think it has helped the calf a little.

Running 1:23:36 [3] 15.34 km (5:27 / km) +70m 5:20 / km

AAC Track session.

7" (2.5), 2 x ( 4 x 2" (1.5) 2 x 1" (1) )

Feeling pretty wiped out tonight. Both mentally and physically. Legs had zero oompth. Didn't help that none of the other lads were there so I was running solo.

Need to do lots of stretching and rolling. Aching all over. No Carnethy this weekend so going to long run Saturday and then possibly KWL on Sunday.

Wednesday Feb 7 #

6 PM

Running 35:00 [1] 5.5 km (6:22 / km) +155m 5:35 / km

Out on the Helm w/ Al as my turbo is still broken. Cool views of the bright lights of Kendal.

Tuesday Feb 6 #

6 PM

Running 1:15:15 [3] 15.1 km (4:59 / km) +359m 4:27 / km

Lower end threshold in the snow from home. Enjoyable and feeling alright bar the standard tightening L calf and R quad near the end. Hips a little tight but not causing any issue.

Monday Feb 5 #

5 PM

Climbing 1:30:00 [2]

Going well again tonight. Lots of stretching in between climbs to break it up a bit.
