Running 1:42:30 [3] 15.0 km (6:50 / km) +750m 5:28 / km

Elterwater KWL - 24:30. Legs felt great but 10 pints yesterday probably holding me back a little. Climbed well getting to the first cairn in 3rd, 20 secs down on Lamby and Elk and then lost ground on the flat section where Charlie came flying past and Josh and Matt Knowles pulled along side. Climbed to Silver How with Josh and Matt with Charlie 30 secs ahead. Turned just behind the others but lost ground immediately - started feeling a bit queasy and a dog wanted to play. Then the gap grew on the flat section back to the final descent. Pulled Josh and matt in down the steep stuff and got onto Josh's shoulder for the standard Jardine v Wright sprint finish. Just pipped him but felt rather rough afterwards!

Then a quick trot up Lingmoor with Josh, Tom, and Elko.
