Kirk Fell with Paul. Good solid effort up to the BG gully where we got a bit stuck. Should’ve just gone up the fence to the top as we ended up in some pretty sketchy situations. Eventually made it to the top but the clag was right in and I had forgotten my compass. Not sure how but ended up back at Black Sail Pass. Cue massive disorientation as I tried to make the edge of Pillar fit into Gable. Eventually saw the Black Sail Hut and worked out what had happened. Oh dear, red flag possibly coming my way.

Recovery on the trails. Knee pain 1-2 out of 10. Just seems to niggle/ache every now and then on easy runs. Seems to be fine when putting in effort or running uphill like yesterday. Watch having a nightmare re heart rate.
