Leg 4 of Hannah’s Bob. Lovely day out on the fells with Max and Hannah on a beaut of a day. Best bit was when we ran down towards Honister with more than 4 hours to go and it finally clicked in her head that she had plenty of time to get round. Despite an onslaught of shit chat from start to finish, Max and I hadn’t been joking about how well she was moving. Top effort that.

Langdale fell tempo - 100mins ish from bottom of the first Langdale climb on the race route to Esk Hause, then up Esk Pike and back on the race route to the Crinkles. Legs had been feeling crap since last Tuesday’s club race where I raced on clearly fatigued legs. Thought I’d bail in the WU but as soon as I got going I felt quite good. Nice little confidence booster for Ennerdale. Heart rate chest strap all over the place.
