Easy road ride thru Capitol Reef NP. Spectacular scenery.

Easy hike thru a remote Canyon in soutehr Capitol Reef NP. No-one around. Great canyon with soaring orange walls.

Hike/snow shoe 5:00:00 [3] 9.0 mi (33:20 / mi)

Easy canyoneering for 5 miles up Sulphur Canyon and then 5 miles road ride. Then 4 mile gentle job up Grand Wash Canyon. Both lovely canyons with slots and steep walls. Good rest type days.

Run long 8:00:00 [3] 25.0 mi (19:12 / mi)

Long hard run thru the Needles section of Canyonlands NP. Lots of sand and hard rock. Not able to run all trails as very technical. Great way to see the National Park. Last 5 miles was getting very sore left knee - IT band playing up. Time for some therary. Otherwise felt good. Last long run before race.
