Event: West Point A meet

Orienteering Race race 1:35:15 [4]6.23 km (15:17 / km) +360m 11:52 / km
West Point 'A' Meet. Ran easily at first - which was easy to do because of the rocky terrain. Knee hurt a bit during the middle of the event. Nice weather. Really mashed 2 controls, but recovered pretty quickly. Total time lost was around 4-5 minutes.

Trail Run 1:07:05 [3]
Trail run in Tallman Mtn SP. 15 minute running segments followed by 5 minute walking segments and repeat as necessary. Felt some pain in the right knee, but different from the left knee. No more left knee pain, but still not anywhere near 100%. Still feels very unstable. Probably rest on Thursday.

Tuesday May 2

Fitness Center 1:10:00 [3]
40 minutes on stairmaster and 30 minutes on bike. Very limited light lifting before the bike.

Sunday Apr 30

Orienteering Race race 2:11:14 [4]*** 11.4 km (11:31 / km) +375m 9:53 / km
spiked:9/17c
US Long Championships at Thacher SP near Albany, NY. Ran pretty cautiously to protect the knee - which ment a lot of trail choices. Found out a lot of others opted for these trails as the best routes. Started after PR and DW, but ran them down by #8. Knee hurt a bit at that point, so I stayed with them for a while. By the time I felt better, I would have looked really bad ditching them, so I stayed with them until the end. Rest day tomorrow.
