Other note: I went for 2 walks, and no heel pain!!! Still gonna take it slow, but good to know I have a reason to get outside more :)

Note

My fitness tracker told me I slept bad and gave me an activity cap, which was basically just walking around and being awake :/

Friday Oct 2 #

7 PM

core/legs 12:46 intensity: (1:13 @0) + (6:01 @1) + (4:14 @2) + (1:18 @3) 0.0 mi
ahr:118 max:146

Taking this opportunity to rant about how tired I am of having to be careful of my heel!!! Walking has been the main way I keep from feeling trapped in my apartment, and it's been really rough (even for a handful of days!!) not to be able to walk my normal amount.

The good news is I did do a 20-minute walk on the flat part of my normal route, and it was infinitely better than no walk. (I'm also reminding myself that having a bit of frustration now will hopefully pay off by reducing the chance of this turning into a chronic problem.)

core/legs ((knee exercises)) 10:47 intensity: (4:08 @0) + (6:39 @1) 0.0 mi +1m null / mi

core/legs 11:00 [1]

Knee exercises

core/legs 12:00 intensity: (6:00 @1) + (6:00 @2)

Day 2 of not going for walks... Really annoying, but my heel hasn't really hurt, so that's good! In more exciting news, just ordered my Carole Baskin Halloween costume :D (Not gory, bc I don't think there's as much evidence she did it as everyone on social media seems to think...)

Did a bunch of variations of dog pees/donkey kicks with ankle weights.

Tuesday Sep 29 #

core/legs 34:00 [2]

A medical resident friend told me to take the next three days off of anything that could make the achilles worse. This was some weight-bearing leg mobility/abs stuff, during a department zoom talk. Nothing hurt!!! Was mostly keeping my lower leg perpendicular to the floor.

Roller derby 19:34 intensity: (1:25 @0) + (5:25 @1) + (11:49 @2) + (55 @3) 0.0 mi
ahr:122 max:145

Walked to another part of grad housing for this and heel really hurttttt going downhill. Hasn't hurt on flat ground yet. Gonna take some rest, or at least some non-right-foot time.

core/legs 2:19 intensity: (1:42 @1) + (37 @2) 0.0 mi
