Taking this opportunity to rant about how tired I am of having to be careful of my heel!!! Walking has been the main way I keep from feeling trapped in my apartment, and it's been really rough (even for a handful of days!!) not to be able to walk my normal amount.
The good news is I did do a 20-minute walk on the flat part of my normal route, and it was infinitely better than no walk. (I'm also reminding myself that having a bit of frustration now will hopefully pay off by reducing the chance of this turning into a chronic problem.)

Day 2 of not going for walks... Really annoying, but my heel hasn't really hurt, so that's good! In more exciting news, just ordered my Carole Baskin Halloween costume :D (Not gory, bc I don't think there's as much evidence she did it as everyone on social media seems to think...)
Did a bunch of variations of dog pees/donkey kicks with ankle weights.
A medical resident friend told me to take the next three days off of anything that could make the achilles worse. This was some weight-bearing leg mobility/abs stuff, during a department zoom talk. Nothing hurt!!! Was mostly keeping my lower leg perpendicular to the floor.
