Fairly disappointed and felt like i never really got up to top gear when it mattered but look, varsity track is less than two weeks away so we'll see what happens then.

Been thinking about this race. Hope im not over analysing it and just making excuses with hindsight bias, but i think the best way of describing it was 16 minutes of counting down the laps and winding down the clock. Turned up thinking i just had to run and that would be enough to get my PB and set me up for varsities in two weeks. Dont think i ever worked hard, and definitely didnt have any interest in positions/the race itself. more like a training tempo with a bit of extra effort.
Or maybe i did my best who knows.
