Nice to get a sneaky W on home ground.
Training has been a bit all over the place so didn't know what to expect, but settled into a nice 3.35 pace with Sergiu and the half-marathoners. Felt very comfortable and when I broke off from them when the routes diverged, there was nobody visible behind me and was able to enjoy the lead and cruise home.
Could feel the ribs tighten at 5km a tiny bit but was nothing major. Came back a bit around 8km so not ideal. Need to iron out this problem over the next month or so and be clear of it by spring 2020.
