Windy Hill Fell Race, my first one this season. Started off in a pack with Harry and Thomas Corrigan, then settled in with Harry in front by a few tens of metres and the two of us a behind. Stuck behind Thomas until midway up the climb, then started to push a bit more and dropped him on the upper segment, setting my sights ahead Harry opened the gap to a couple of hundred metres over Blackstone edge but I pushed hard on the downhill and the motorway bridge, and caught him up just over the brow of the next hill. Ran together until he fell over a couple of k later, and wasn't able to keep the speed up after that, letting me finish 20s or so ahead.
I enjoyed this race, on a pretty nice course with a lot of very fast running, and taking the win was pretty nice too

Trail/Terrain warm up/down 13:39 [3] 2.03 km (6:43 / km) +70m 5:44 / km
shoes: Inov8 x-talon Nov 19

up a hill until we got to some mud, then back again with Fay and Harry
