Running (SLR) 1:40:00 [3] 20.0 km (5:00 / km)

Another long run ticked off, could potentially be the last one before racing on the 13th unfortunately. Another decent week of running, would’ve liked a bit more but just didn’t have time. I’m off to Brecon to get piss wrapped for a week so no running till next Sunday. Hoping the fitness I’ve built up recently doesn’t disappear!

Running (Fartlek) 1:08:00 [3] 13.8 km (4:56 / km)

Fartlek session on Barossa. Recovery same as effort. 5x1min, 4x2min, 3x3min. Felt strong on most of the reps even when slogging up a hill.

Didn't have much time but wanted to do something hard, went down the track and did 3km tempo in 10:30 and ran back. Felt strong but probably wouldn't have done this if I knew I was doing a fartlek on Saturday.

Orienteering (Long Valley South) 1:03:00 [3] 10.5 km (6:00 / km)

MLS on Long Valley south, pretty cool area with lots of different terrain. Had a decent run, managed to lose most time on the simpler controls as I was just running and not thinking. Even though it was a decent length I didn't tire out at all which is a good sign

In the dark on roads around camp, may aswell have gone out on the area with a headtorch because theres hardly any street lights so was tripping over the curbs
