Was hoping to attend the local orienteering event on the North Shore today, but felt I needed to get this vertigo under control first. Did a short walk in the morning to the bank and a longer one in the afternoon on the wet trails of Byrne Creek. Throughout the day, did 3 sessions of the Brandt-Daroff exercise.
Using the scale: 0 = No Vertigo, 5 = Nauseating Vertigo
Vertical down to left side = 0.5
Left side up to vertical = 0.5
Vertical down to right side = 3.0 for 15s
Right side up to vertical = 4.0 for 20s

So it appears I have Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) as thoroughly researched by Beth. I've started doing the Brandt-Daroff Exercise and have observed that the right side movements causes strong vertigo, but the left side only has minor vertigo symptoms. I'll follow the Home Treatment recommendations from the BC Health Guide, and start moving around again.

Another solid sleep, but it would have been better if it was longer. Worked quite hard today, and that tired me out such that the vertigo symptoms were a bit worse during my commute home. Will try to rest more this weekend to recover.

First uninterupted sleep I've had in a while. Vertigo symptoms today are very much reduced. Still there in a minor way occasionally, but I think I'm on the recovery slope.

Still felt a bit of vertigo waking up this morning, but I'm getting used to it. Somewhat concerned, but not as much as yesterday, since Beth explained what might be happening.

Woke up with vertigo this morning, so decided to take the day off work to rest and monitor this situation. Was able to walk around home and outside OK during the day. Identified that it was mostly related to head positioning. Primarily the change between lying down and sitting up. Felt a bit more vertigo at the beginning of photography class this evening when I initially looked at my notes.

Feeling groggy and tired over the past few days. I might be slightly sick, or perhaps I'm missing the daylight due to longer nights and rainy days.
