Aus Relay Champs - M16A first leg with Joseph and Eckart on leg 2 and 3.
Pretty good, clean, run. Took a longer route than was really necessary on the start because I got pushed off course by the crowds and ended up bailing out to the large track before coming back in. Also lost a little bit of time dropping too early on #9. Came in 3rd for the first leg - 5 mins behind Euan Best and 1.5 mins behind Owen Radajewski.

Aus Long Champs - M16A. Pretty good overall through the first half other than one dumb mistake at #6. Couple of tough legs up the hill and then a long leg around the track killed me physically by the time I got into the gold mining. Screwed up most controls in the gold mining section just overshooting or losing my place. Wasn't taking enough care with the navigation because I was so tired, I just wanted to get back into the finish as quickly as possible. Ended up in a solid position slightly higher than halfway through the field but definitely lost a lot of time in the last section.

Aus Sprint Champs. Not a good run today. Lost 30s on #1 looking on the wrong garden bed. Control descriptions didn't say which garden bed it was on and both were close to the middle of the circle, but I still spent too long screwing around. Lost another 30s on a bad route choice from 6-7, the long leg from the bottom of the hill back up to the top. Lost some more time on the map flip because I couldn't see where my next control was - the line to it was bent to avoid some out of bounds. Ok for the rest of it until the last control. I rushed it, missed the exit and lost 20s going all the way around towards the start and then back up the hill.

Schools Relay. I was running first leg with Kate and Joseph on leg 2 and 3. For dropped by the top group pretty quickly, on the way from 1-2. Pretty clean through all the controls and running well after the first few. I came in with a solid time, only 6 minutes behind the leaders but got disqualified for crossing the railway line. I didn't see the out of bounds green next to the railway symbol because of all the other clutter of symbols around and there wasn't any crossing marked nearby or any obvious out of bounds symbols so I decided that the railway line must not be in use. They had announcements about the railway being dangerous and out of bounds hours after the start, but I wasn't even aware that there was a railway on the map until the mass start at 9:30.

Schools Long - Senior Boys. Feeling sick before the start and not feeling good running. A few minor navigational mistakes, a clean but slower run.
