Junior state league Pennants against Hensman Park. We got the overall win on sets, which will boost our finals chances since they were the top team.

I played #3 singles against Thomas McKenzie (8.3 UTR), won 6-4 6-3. Had lots of missed opportunities in the first set, really should have won it 6-0/6-1. Second set I was starting to get tired, then a couple of very bad calls on game points at 0-1 and 1-1 meant the game dragged on even longer. It helped me out in a way, pissed me off enough to give me a bit of a boost in energy. Didn't have much left in the tank by the end but got across the line.

Played #1 doubles with Henry against Luka and Kian. We only needed one set from either doubles to win the day so Henry and I were supposed to be the sacrifice to Luka in the #1 doubles while our top 2 singles players picked up a win against an easier pairing at #2. Henry and I lost, but got the set that we needed for the overall win 2-6 6-3 3-10. Cameron and Christian won the first set of the second doubles but ran out of time at 4-4 in the 2nd set because they had been playing long deuce in the first set and a half.

Viveash Metro. Picked a decent route but managed to do a 180 on the way to #17 so that added another 200m. Also overshot the last control, which wasn't so bad other than that everyone could see me miss it and it killed my motivation for the finish sprint. Feeling good running, although the long stretch down the river on the way back was tough. Beat Sten by 1:30 for my second overall win on the long this season.
