Lots of walking lunge combinations w/ hip add/abduction, bench step-ups, and leg swings while playing frisbee/stomp rocket w/ family at Broemmelsiek. Did core and pushups earlier in the day.

Out in the woods! Drew a few circles on my snazzy Defiance/Weldon Spring quad combo (thank you My Topo) and drove 90 seconds to the shooting range. Yeah - could have ran but didn't feel like battling the highway right of way. Just took it slow with the intent of building familiarity with 1:24000 detail. Lack of visibility in the woods and large quantities of thorny stuff affected speed but navigation was pretty decent. I also wanted to test the Hoka's performance. They were awesome bombing through rocky creek beds but questionable while contouring. But my feet felt 100% fresh at the end so they warrant further testing.
Auto pause feature on the Garmin is NOT good for this type of stuff. Constant stops and starts to check position/map totally throw it off. It only registered 30 minutes for the session.

Dusk ride on Hamburg/Katy with family. 60 pounds of trailer/kiddo on the back of the bike make normally ho-hum hills a challenge! Fun times.

Night run on surrounding subdivision roads. Reason #122 why running at night is awesome: no gloppy sunscreen getting everywhere and zero melanoma risk.
