Scootering 20:00 [2]
shoes: Xootr Street

Scootering @ Broemmelsiek while the kiddos rode bikes. Actually, I do this frequently with them, but this was the first time it was pretty much continuous...and I broke a sweat...so therefore logable. Go kids! They're getting a lot better on the bikes.

Hoping to do a bit more scootering these days since the new Greenway trail is so darn convenient from work. When you have a $300 scooter (left over from the Wild Onion urban AR days), you probably should use it once in a while, right? Dorky but TOTALLY FUN!! And fast.

Bike (spin bike) 20:59 [3]
ahr:144 max:162

Gym session tonight. Been a while! Spin bike WU with a few out of the saddle intervals.

Run 25:02 [3]
ahr:135 max:145 shoes: Hoka One One Kailua Trail

Treadmill run. Some incline variation up to 8%.

Strength 47:00 [4]
ahr:138 max:160 shoes: Hoka One One Kailua Trail

A conglomeration of all kinds of stuff. Not particularly well thought out -- just moved from one area of the gym to another whenever I felt like it. But made sure to keep the sweat dripping.

Note

Today's craft project: making SI stick tethers. Somebody lost a stick at the Queeny O' event and I felt so bad about charging them $$ for the loss that I vowed to work on a solution. I ordered some Vapro tethers from 866gaiters and liked them. Then, channeling Martha Stewart (the nerdy orienteering version of her anyway), I thought, "surely I can make these myself". So -- I ordered cord locks off the net and bought some elastic cording @ Michaels (all they had was rainbow colors - hey whatever). So I hope they result in fewer lost SI sticks. And they are 5 yr. old girl approved. (Her: "Those are pretty bracelets mommy!" Me: "Well, they aren't really bracelets. They are so you can't lose those orienteering beeper stick thingys that go on your finger" Her: "Ummm...OK. I want one of those rainbow bracelets. Can I have one?")

Bike (gravel, grass and paved) 28:04 [3] 6.7 mi (14.3 mph)
shoes: Trek Superfly 100

Scamper to KM gym. Took the squishy wet grass the last quarter mile.

Krav Maga 2:45:00 [3]

Heavy bag, sparring, and KM classes. Three different weights of battle ropes in heavy bag...oww shoulders and core. Tons of tombstone pad punching in KM class. Knuckles held up! Progress!

Bike (gravel, grass and paved) 1:01:04 [3] 11.65 mi (11.4 mph)
shoes: Trek Superfly 100

Bike back to work. Hwy 94 grass was even taller than last week -- very slow. Did a few quick laps around the disposal cell. Saw three big bucks w/ gigantic racks hanging out together in the prairie -- typical behavior this time of year according to hubby.
