OOPS -- really did not intend to be away from AP so long! So I will be working on filling in Nov. and Dec. including some thoughts on Castlewood 8 hr. (which feels like -- and was -- ages ago).

More skating! Like I said, serious hockey obsession going on in our house (mostly son, but daughter is a fully willing participant). They start "Learn to Skate Hockey" (program taught by Lindenwood hockey coach and team members) Tuesday. So we'll see how that goes. Logged half time.

Short yet pathetic lap session @ the Spirit Center then re-joined the fam for splashy fun.

Hiking w/ the fam @ Rivers Edge Park in Chest. valley. We had some time to kill before the skating session started. Nice little lake! I believe it is open to public paddling but need to confirm.

Skating @ Hardees Ice Plex w/ the fam. Kiddos get better and better every time. Logging half time.

Kiddos were totally pooped afterwards. Gave 'em a nice multi-sport workout today!! Great way to start the new year.

Heavy bag, sparring, and KM classes. Not a good night for elbows, shins, and feet. Scraped a somewhat sizeable piece of skin off my elbow/forearm, badly bruised my shin, and broke a blood vessel on the top of my foot which made it puff up all weird. Apparently, this is normal stuff.

Ride around surrounding subdivision roads to finish studded tire break-in period. Rode w/ dilated pupils -- just got back from annual eye exam. 47 and I still have my 20/20 vision! Bam
