Run (trail and paved) 46:39 [3] 4.08 mi (11:26 / mi) +853ft 9:33 / mi
shoes: Hoka One One Bondi B 2

Drive home from Cincy with a stop at my fav mid-point-state-park-stop (Lincoln Trail State Park). Jogged the loop trails then ran the road to the other trail that traverses up and down steep reentrants through the beech forest preserve. Step/boardwalk sections in some spots - 303 steps exactly. Slogged it out.

Paddling (SUP) 1:06:35 [2] 2.89 mi (23:02 / mi)

Back to Miami Whitewater where I rented a stand up paddleboard. This park has everything including a beautiful woods-lined lake. Was tempted to rent the "paddle swan" (paddle boat shaped exactly like a huge swan) but resisted. Goofed around on the board for an hour.

Run (trail) 49:12 [3] 4.7 mi (10:28 / mi) +647ft 9:16 / mi
shoes: Hoka One One Bondi B 2

Biz trip to Cincy this week. Got out of the office and headed to the delightful Miami Whitewater Forest mere minutes away. Ran the 3 loop trails. Lots of sharp ups and downs plus slimy mud - a bit technical in spots.

Scootering 40:58 [3] 7.8 mi (11.4 mph) +115ft
shoes: Xootr Street

It can be a bit of a pain schlepping a bike into a biz trip rental car, so on a whim, I threw in the scooter which is so compact. Right after the run, headed out onto the paved Shaker Trace trail @ the park -- perfect for scootin'. I swear I hit close to 20 on one of the downhills. Scary but a rush. Hokas are perfect for scootering.
