So this was supposed to be my "big ride" day since I missed Tour of Hermann and my saddle time has been less than adequate these past few weeks. As luck would have it, a couple issues intervened (one work related and one child related) so my day ended just shy of a measly 60 mi. and those 60 felt a lot harder than I would have liked. Big sigh. Discouraging. But I'll live.

Lunchtime "wellness hike" with my co-workers. Led them through the Love Connection onto the Clark trail and we enjoyed some primo wildflower viewing. Glorious wild geraniums and spring larkspur! Fun, fun, fun.

Our kitchen total gut/rehab project continues - issues discovered, schedules changed, etc. Pretty typical stuff I suppose, but boy is it ever taking a bite out of my training. I'm definitely concerned about it but don't have a lot of options to modify the situation. Just keep plugging away.

White course at Broemmelsiek w/ the kiddos. Not fast, but they had a great time. Nice little map. Afterwards, hiked over to other side of the park to check out Earth Day festivities (not logged). Plus, did a bunch of frog watching (GIANT bullfrogs in the pond below the shelter). A glorious day!
