Level test - Paul usually tries to make these tough and this one was no exception. Lots of skill drills back to back w/ brief breaks. Picked up a few new bruises to go w/ the others and strained my R lower hamstring (very mild though) but really no other issues. Passed! Happy. Got that out of my system. Moving on to L3 but also wanting to shift focus back to the outdoorsy stuff.

From work, Hamburg/Lost Valley doubletrack O&B. Rained the whole time and was wonderful - everything was so green and the dogwoods were beautiful. Easy pace.

Sparring, KM1 and 2 classes. Picked up a few more bruises to go w/ my knee, foot, and thumb. Katie told me I was totally ready for THE TEST so I will strive to channel her confidence on Sat.

KM skill review w/ hubby who, being lots bigger than me, is not the ideal size for a training partner, but very willing so good enough. Trap and roll, armbars, sweeps, body lock defenses, elbow mount escapes, combative combos. Helpful! Feeling less anxious about this weekend.

KM level 1, jiu jitsu, and KM2 classes. Tough night. A little beat up - some worrisome L knee pain w/ huge bruise + trauma to L thumb. Everything still functional though.

Slow headlamp jog putting out ~100 eggs all around our property. Some sneaky spots. Kiddos got their workout!
