Klondike boat ramp -> lap around Klondike Park -> lap around Augusta including Hackman and Nahm -> lap around Hermann -> back to boat ramp

All connected by the Katy, of course (and the bike lane into Hermann). Westbound headwind but eastbound tailwind. The hills in Hermann added some needed climb but also seriously challenged my Avid disc brakes. Yikes. Did not enjoy the ever increasing heat but handled it OK and finished feeling fairly decent. A great mother's day morning!

Mostly grass, some paved around Ft. Zum W campus. Focused on the short, but steep hills on the back side of the track. Had to bail off the bike on one - almost flipped over backwards it was so steep!

Definitely not feeling peppy today plus....the HEAT. Ugh. Many laps around track/grass edge and I made myself keep trotting thinking the heat exposure would do me good. Double ugh.

Lumpy fields @ Ft. Zumwalt W H.S. Because she qualified for the "big meet", daughter gets 2 more weeks of practice. No complaints out of me! Son tagged along and ran 1.5 mi. of this w/ me. Good job dude.
